Ese fue el caso de mi visita a Khoa by DoubleTree by Hilton, en San Isidro, donde la propuesta gastronómica se combina con un ambiente elegante, acogedor y lleno de detalles que hacen que la experiencia vaya mucho más allá de sentarse a comer.

Hoy te cuento qué encontré en este desayuno buffet y por qué creo que Khoa puede ser una alternativa especial para disfrutar en pareja, celebrar una fecha importante o simplemente regalarse una mañana diferente.

That was certainly the case during my visit to Khoa by DoubleTree by Hilton in San Isidro, where the culinary offerings blend with an elegant, welcoming atmosphere—filled with thoughtful details that elevate the experience far beyond just sitting down to eat.

Today, I’m sharing what I discovered at this buffet breakfast and why I believe Khoa is a wonderful choice for a date, a special celebration, or simply treating yourself to a unique morning.

The buffet breakfast at Khoa by DoubleTree by Hilton in San Isidro is a culinary experience I highly recommend. The menu stands out for its variety, featuring a mix of sweet and savory choices, as well as lighter, healthier options.

Algo que me gustó especialmente es que las porciones de varias preparaciones son pequeñas, lo que permite probar diferentes alternativas y descubrir nuevos sabores sin tener que elegir solo una. Fui con mi esposo y para comenzar pedimos un desayuno americano, también unos tostones con palta y, para darle un toque dulce a la mañana, elegí un waffle con frutos rojos.

I especially loved that many of the dishes come in smaller portions; this allows you to sample different items and discover new flavors without having to commit to just one. I visited with my husband, and to start, we ordered an American breakfast and avocado toast; for a sweet touch to the morning, I chose a waffle with mixed berries.

Por eso, me parece una alternativa especialmente bonita para disfrutar en pareja o con alguien querido en una fecha especial. De hecho, pensé inmediatamente en mi mamá, porque sé que disfrutaría muchísimo un espacio así: vistoso, elegante y lleno de plantas, uno de sus elementos favoritos.

That’s why I think it’s a lovely option for a date or a special outing with a loved one. In fact, I immediately thought of my mom; I know she would absolutely adore a space like this—visually stunning, elegant, and filled with plants, which are among her favorite things.

Recorrí cada una de las estaciones, viendo lo que más me llamó la atención y estos fueron mis elegidos:

Sección dulces

• Bollería: cupcakes, panecillos dulces y otras opciones para acompañar el café.
• Galletas de avena: una alternativa sencilla y deliciosa.
• Yogures: con diferentes toppings para personalizarlos al gusto.
• Avena reposada: definitivamente, una de mis favoritas.

Sección salados:

• Quesos y jamones: una combinación clásica para comenzar el desayuno.
• Sánguche triple: una de las opciones que también llamó mi atención.

Y, por supuesto, siempre hay algo que termina convirtiéndose en el favorito inesperado de la mañana. En mi caso, la avena reposada fue una de esas pequeñas sorpresas que volvería a elegir.

My buffet picks

I wandered through each of the stations, checking out what caught my eye, and here are the ones I chose:

Sweet section

• Pastries: cupcakes, sweet rolls, and other options to pair with coffee.
• Oatmeal cookies: a simple yet delicious choice.
• Yogurts: with various toppings to customize to your liking.
• Overnight oats: definitely one of my favorites.

Savory section:

• Cheeses and cured meats: a classic combination to start breakfast.
• Triple-decker sandwich: another option that caught my attention.

And, of course, there’s always something that ends up being the unexpected favorite of the morning. For me, the overnight oats were one of those little surprises I’d choose again.

La atención fue de primera, me atendieron con mucha amabilidad, me sentí muy bien durante mi estadía en Khoa, creo que lo que hace especial esta propuesta es la suma de todos los detalles: la música, el ambiente, la decoración. Todo contribuye a crear una experiencia agradable y diferente.

The service was top-notch; I was treated with great kindness and felt very comfortable during my time at Khoa. I think what makes this place special is the combination of all the details: the music, the ambiance, and the décor. Everything comes together to create a pleasant and unique experience.
