La vida óptima de una diseñadora

 Esta fue una de las charlas a la que pude asisitir este año, una mañana llena de creatividad, moda y por supuesto café, un momento para conectar con personas que al igual que yo aman el mundo de la moda, el diseño, y sobretodo crear, esta charla se llamó "La vida óptima de un diseñador" y fue dictada por la fundadora de la Escuela de Moda Chio Lecca, Rocío Lecca, también empresaria de moda y diseñadora de modas.

This was one of the talks I was able to attend this year, a morning full of creativity, fashion and of course coffee, a moment to connect with people who, like me, love the world of fashion, design, and above all, creating. , this talk was called "The optimal life of a designer" and was given by the founder of the Chio Lecca Fashion School, Rocío Lecca, also a fashion businesswoman and fashion designer.

En esta charla la diseñadora Rocío Lecca compartió con todos los asistentes sus inicios en el mundo del diseño de modas y también algunos tips para los diseñadores de moda que pueden ayudarlos a rentabilizar su talento, la importancia de la constancia, la organización, la disciplina, la actualización en los estudios y el conocimiento de diferentes idiomas para ir abriéndose camino en el competitivo mundo de la moda, también nos habló de su experiencia todos estos años dirigiendo su institución educativa, renovándose y reinventándose en estos últimos años que estuvieron marcados por diferentes cambios a nivel de sociedad y cómo ha ido implementando la tecnología en las diferentes carreras y cursos que ofrece en la actualidad.

In this talk, designer Rocío Lecca shared with all attendees her beginnings in the world of fashion design and also some tips for fashion designers that can help them make the most of their talent, the importance of perseverance, organization, discipline, updating his studies and knowledge of different languages to make his way in the competitive world of fashion, he also told us about his experience all these years directing his educational institution, renewing and reinventing himself in recent years that were marked by different changes at the societal level and how it has been implementing technology in the different careers and courses it currently offers.

Los asistentes a la charla pudimos disfrutar de un delicioso brunch preparado por los mismos estudiantes de la carrera, quienes también aprovecharon para contarnos de los diferentes talleres que se dictan en la actualidad y las actividades dirigidas a alumnos y ex- alumnos relacionados con la moda, el emprendimiento, etc.  La charla estuvo dirigida a diseñadores de moda y público en general interesados en el rubro. Fue agradable volver a mi instituto después de varios años y recordar los bonitos momentos en donde mi amor por la moda, la creatividad y el diseño recién comenzaba.

Those attending the talk were able to enjoy a delicious brunch prepared by the students of the program themselves, who also took the opportunity to tell us about the different workshops that are currently being taught and the activities aimed at students and alumni related to fashion, entrepreneurship, etc. The talk was aimed at fashion designers and the general public interested in the field. It was nice to return to my institute after several years and remember the beautiful moments where my love for fashion, creativity and design was just beginning.

Creo que este tipo de convocatorias ayuda mucho al sector de la moda en el Perú, a los emprendedores, los artesanos, y a todas las personas involucradas en el sector, este es un evento que busca conectar y promover el intercambio de ideas y experiencias en las diferentes áreas de la moda que en los últimos años ha crecido notoriamente y a día de hoy se busca diferentes maneras de mejorar los procesos de producción, el cuidado de los recursos y el medio ambiente, además de promover iniciativas que ayuden a disminuir el consumo indiscriminado como el upcycling del que últimamente se esta viendo y hablando mucho.
